Harpa

01.What is your sex?

All sexuality is fluid; all characteristics are like lingerie; all roles are imaginary like fantasies.

02.Where are you now?

I am standing in a boat as big as the ocean. I am waving to you. Can you see me? Now I am with you now.

03.What’s your favorite year since 1968?

04. Do you think the 90’s ever exist? What proof can you offer?

05.
Is your definition of “free time” uncommitted space to fill up? If so, what does that say about the idea that artists are never in vacation? And what does that say about the connections between leisure, bordom, and guilt?

06.
Can you describe the reasons why you make art and how those reasons have changed, if they have, over time?

instinct. satisfaction. icecubes and a very fat tire

07.
How do you decide when a project is worth realizing?

When i get great pleasure just to think about it. when it feels right. when it feels right in the gut, so to speak, and in the mind. I rely heavily on feeling and inner sense-intuition.

08.
In the West, we seem to have developed a conception of culture whiwh positions it as something used by children to form themselves. Children absorb music, movies, TV, etc... to create identities. One use witch adults have for culture is to sell it to children, and thereby, in effect, to live off children. Other than these commercial transactions, what is that adults use culture for?

this is too long a question

09.
An artist, writer, filmmaker, or musician that particularly inspires you at the moment?

All my friends are very important. they are making incredible break-thoughs.

10. What is the image that counts the most for you? (please describe or send one)

too many to cite here. as circumstances change, the images vary.

11. When you wake up in the middle of the night, how do you occupy time and space?

my mind is contained by the limits of the body, it extends out to the walls of the room I am in. My eyeballs are hudge. Time does not tick like fractured seconds on a clock face but blows like wind. motion occurs only at perpendicular angles.

12.Should you? When?

il faudrait, plutôt tout de suite.

13. Have you ever experienced the madness of the unexpected?

we would hardly define it as madness -yes.

14.What would you do if you inherited a million dollars?

protect myself from ever needing to work for money again. then i would built some utopias or desillusions.

15. One of your favorite hotels?

the hotel room in my head.
